Even though it's still relatively early in her life, Sarah finds herself taking inventory of the life she's lead so far. He marriage is so-so, but her husband loves her and that's good for something, she supposes. No, the real victory so far has been the amazing son she and her husband adopted. Sure, he was a little older than most kids you see being brought home. And he was definitely a whole lot blacker than all of the other teens that the other white couples were bring home. But, Sarah got to spend two quality years with the strapping young man she called Julius. Now that Julius is leaving home, though, she's feeling more than a little empty. If only there were some way to raise another little black baby in Julius' absence...
